You can even take your kids to places you grew up going to as a kid. With a water park that is open in the summer months and a beautiful year-round green park to play in, Lions Park provides all the fun that you and the family need! The park is over 100 acres wide with 2 playgrounds, 4 softball fields, 12 picnic tables, 2 BBQ grills, 2 picnic pavilions, a pond, 2-mile bike and hike trail, and a disc golf course. Whether you have all day or only an hour, this park is great for getting in some outdoor fresh air with the family.

Downtown Street Art
Looking for a way to get some fresh air in the downtown area? Go for a walk in downtown Temple to take a look at the impressive display of street art. Some of the most popular murals are The Hub Alley Mural, ExtraCo Mural, and the Treno Mural. You can do an i-Spy game of objects in the murals or try to figure out how the mural highlights Temple culture. Regardless of the ages of your kids, they will love seeing how big and spectacular the displays are! Since you are in the downtown area, you can do this activity before or after getting a bite to eat.
